On April 9, National Pingtung University warmly received a delegation from Thailand’s Sripatum University, led by Vice President Asst. Prof. Dr. Wirat Lertpaitoonpan, with Senior Advisor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Boontida Uapipatanakul and Asst. Prof. Dr. Suphattra Sriyanalugsana in attendance. Both sides explored cooperation models including short term faculty exchanges, joint international academic publications, subsidized short term programs for faculty and students, and student internships either on campus or within industry. They also discussed hands on initiatives such as AI maker training camps Hackathons, AI Bootcamps, and Creator Community Innovation programs. In addition to reciprocal short‑term exchanges, National Pingtung University offered to host customized short‑term camps and arrange practical internship placements to foster mutual learning, research collaboration, and professional development for students and faculty from both institutions.
Pingtung University expressed readiness to host customized short‑term camps and to arrange practical internship placements, aiming to create reciprocal opportunities for learning, research, and professional development.
The atmosphere throughout the visit was one of optimism and mutual respect, with both institutions expressing eagerness to deepen ties.
