Welcome Japan partner Reitaku University to visit NPTU
In spring, a transoceanic friendship blossoms anew. Since the era of National Pingtung Institute of Commerce, the bridge of cooperation with Japan's Reitaku University has been solidly built for decades. This long-standing friendship has been wonderfully continued through student exchanges and interaction activities. These exchanges send our students to Japan for a splendid journey of exchange learning that lasts one to two semesters. Similarly, Reitaku University carefully selects students to come to Taiwan and participate in a one-month internship in the Department of Applied Japanese.
Bathed in the spring sunlight, Reitaku University's Vice President Kazunobu Horiuchi and Associate Professor Dr. Chiu visited our school on April 12th. Their visit aimed not only to review the past achievements of our exchanges but also to solidify the blueprint for future cooperation. Their main objectives were to finalize the student exchange agreements with our school and to expand the scope of our academic and cultural exchange collaborations.
With deeper cooperation, Reitaku University will send three talented students studied in the department of Chinese to our school for an exchange program this September. To ensure these students have a flawless learning experience in Taiwan, upon arrival, the two professors diligently inspected the transportation options available to students, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free journey to our campus upon their initial arrival in Taiwan.
Our school spared no effort in showcasing our meticulously planned learning environment. From the scholarly ambiance of the library to the cozy arrangements of the dormitories, and the professional courses in the department of Applied Japanese, each aspect was designed to convey our passion and expertise to Vice President Kazunobu Horiuchi and Associate Professor Dr. Chiu. Moreover, the Chinese language courses and general education are essential parts of the curriculum, enriching the students' knowledge and facilitating the transfer of credits when they return to their home country.
This visit was not only a reaffirmation of our collaborative efforts but also a well-orchestrated look towards the future, aiming to further enhance the blend of academic and cultural exchanges.
